3-D Interlocking printed Puzzle
In a group of two, three, OR individually plan and print an interlocking 3-D puzzle cube. If in groups each person should decide on which pieces of the cube they are responsible for in the design.
3D Interlocking CUBE CRITERIA
a/ There are six pieces to print
b/ Maximum width, height, and length is 30mm x 30mm x 30mm for the entire cube. That means each smaller cube in the design must be 10 mm x 10mm x 10mm. c/ Each of the six pieces of the cube must be different in shape. d/ Each of the six pieces should have either 5 or 6 smaller cubes in the design of the shape. Procedure/Directions:
1. Review the criteria for the 3D interlocking puzzle design above. 2. Watch the video and use the link provided to begin planning your interlocking 3D cube puzzle. 3. Plan each piece carefully. Make a drawing and/or model of each piece to plan and determine the measurements of each piece (length, width, height). Ask for math cubix's if needed. LINKS:
