activity C: 2dimensional to 3-Dimensional images
VIDEO INTRODUCTION OF PROJECT
STEP 1: 2D Image Selection/ Saving
1/ Use an image search engine (Google, etc) to find a logo or symbol you would like to change to a 3-D image for use in Tinkercad. You can choose superheros or superhero logos, sports team logos, clothing labels, sport equipment logos, emoji's, symbols from movie characters or titles, book titles, cartoon characters, etc. Must be APPROPRIATE FOR SCHOOL and the learning environment at school.
2/ Download the image as a jpeg or png file to your documents, desktop, or downloads. Be sure to name it so you know what the image is called. |

STEP 3: IMPORTING SVG FILE INTO TINKERCAD
a. Create a NEW DESIGN in TINERKAD
b. Use the IMPORT button to select the SVG file from your downloads. c. Change the file size to something smaller than 1000 x 1000 pixels. d. RESIZE it using the image handles to fit on the WORKPLANE. |
