Practices: School team practice Friday 2:45 - 3:45 pm / Tuesdays 2:45 -3:45
(*Students Should be out running weekly for a minimum of 1 km to a maximum of 5km at least once per week. Longer runs are okay if permitted by parents and guardians*. Be be safe when running)

SD 83 Cross Country Running MeetThe district is offering one running meet this year called the LITTLE MOUNTAIN STOMP. Please use the links below to see information regarding the cross country event.
(Students will walk over at 10:30 am from school to warm-up before their run. Students will then walk back to SMS after the run for afternoon classes)
(Students will walk over at 11:35 am from school to warm-up before their run. Race order will be Grade 6 Boys, followed by Grade 6 Girls. Students will then walk back to SMS after the run for afternoon classes. )

WARM-up FIRST
Please do a dynamic warm-up before each run. The following are a list of dynamic stretches to do before you run: (Please watch the video to see each stretch performed)
